IBBUL MACOSA Press Week unveils...

                                                      PRESS WEEK
Its press week 2014 coming to you from the unique umbrella of a great giant of Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida University Lapai.
 Mass communication department is set to light up the globe with the chains of activities lined up from the desk of  Mass Communications' Students Association (MACOSA).
 The Secretary General of the association, Zaynab Gulu reiterated that, the association is head bond on leaving up to expectation not just lighting up the globe, but also leaving up to the expectation of the school's vision  of a world class citadel of learning and excellence.
she added that, the department is working day and night to make the week a memorable one to remember, and one everyone would remember like a nursery rhyme.
 Michael Asadu, the departmental president, assured of maximum education, entertainment and enlightenment. This Edition promises to be one with a difference, as lots of activities would be rolling out, activities like lectures from renowned scholars, cultural day, rap battle, old school day, creativity day, bonding day and to be crowned with award night.
On previous occasion, the department had invited scholars to deliver lectures, on the first Press week was Cyril Stober a seasoned journalist from the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA), then came the second edition where the department had Mohammed Haruna a columnist with The Daily Trust, who also is a seasoned journalist and a don with the famous ABU Zaria.
This year's edition is promising to be one where everyone is expected to be there as great scholars would be in attendance, to create a town and gown relationship.

Mass Communication students' association, in top gear for preparation for its annual fiesta



Mass Communication Students' association is set to take Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida University Lapai, from a comatose of social activities as its rolls out the drums for this year's fiesta.
The Secretary General of the association, Zainab Gulu in an interview said the association would light up its environment, just as the motto goes "let's light up the globe".
She gave the brake down of the activities as follows;

The  President of the association, Asadu Michael, reaffirmed that the executive arm are working, arm in arm with every student in the department to bring this August meeting into reality.
He said videos would soon be out to further create awareness on the preparation of the week to create a favourable ambiance.
